Rope is built for drivers, by people who respect your data. Here's exactly what we collect, what we don't, and how we keep it safe.
Rope ("we", "our", "us") is a smart auto-accept application designed for Indian ride-hailing drivers. Our app uses accessibility services to detect and accept ride requests on supported platforms based on the criteria you set — such as minimum fare, preferred areas, and accept speed.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, what we do not access, and the rights you have over your data. By installing or using Rope, you agree to the practices described below.
To provide and improve Rope, we collect the following types of information:
Information about when the bot is active, how long each session runs, and which ride apps are in use during the session.
Your configured minimum fare, area filters, accept speed, and other preferences — stored so Rope can apply your rules consistently.
Crash reports, error logs, and performance data used to diagnose bugs and improve stability.
Privacy is core to Rope's design. We do not access or store:
We use the data we collect strictly to operate and improve Rope:
All Rope data is stored on secure cloud servers protected by industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. Access to this data is restricted to authorized personnel and protected by authentication, logging, and monitoring. We use reputable cloud infrastructure providers with strong physical and network security guarantees.
We retain your data indefinitely to provide continuous service across devices, preserve your ride history, and maintain accurate subscription records. You may request deletion of your data at any time — see Section 10 below for how to do this.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We do not share ride data, earnings, or device identifiers with advertisers, marketers, or data brokers. Data is only shared in the limited cases described in Section 8, or when required by law.
To operate Rope we rely on a small number of trusted third-party services:
We may add or replace providers over time, but we will only use services that meet our security and privacy standards.
Each Rope subscription is bound to a single device. We store a unique device identifier for this purpose. The identifier is used only to verify your subscription and cannot be used to track you outside the Rope service.
If you change devices, your old binding is released only when you explicitly request a transfer through support. Tokens cannot be shared between devices.
You have full control over your data. You may at any time:
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email listed in Section 13. We respond to all verified requests within 30 days.
Rope is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify you through the app or via email so you have time to review the changes before they take effect.
